Description: United Pentecostal Church- David & Elaine Fauss–Just For You LP vinyl is in excellent condition The David Fauss Trio was a premiere gospel group in the 70s and 80s, with unmatched harmony. Members included David Fauss, his wife Elaine, and Gayle Allen, Elaine's sister. David provided guitar accompaniment, while his wife played keyboards. A prolific songwriter, Gayle wrote and arranged the group's songs. If you ever heard this group's albums, or saw them in person, you know how anointed their music was. Gayle later married and became Gayle Allen Cox. Gayle's songs have been recorded by numerous gospel soloists and groups, including The Kingsmen, The Kingdom Heirs, former Louisiana governor, Jimmie Davis, and many others. David Fauss is the son of the late Rev Orlin Ray (O.R) Fauss who passed away in 2013 age 85. Pastor O.R Fauss was the son of relnown Oneness pioneer Rev O.F Fauss Dave’s father O.R Fauss began his ministry as a traveling evangelist and traveled throughout Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas for several years. He severed as pastor for churches in Diboll, Texas, Nacogdoches, Texas, and Jena, Louisiana. He then came to Houston to become Pastor at Bethel Tabernacle in 1961. He served Bethel Tabernacle for 52 years, until his death. His father, Oliver Fauss founded the church, in 1929. Pastor Fauss was a world renowned conference and camp meeting speaker. He held various offices in the United Pentecostal Church. As a writer he completed a doctrinal study that was used as curriculum while he served several years as an instructor for Texas Bible College. He will be greatly missed by his loving congregation and the thousands of people he touched with his ministry.
