Description: Lovely copy of the original 1968 pressing of the sole United States of America LP on Columbia CS-9614. A true psychedelic masterpiece by the enigmatic Joe Byrd, who also did the equally legendary American Metaphysical Circus album and so much else since then. Original 2-eye stereo pressing. The disc has a few very light superficial scuffs but plays near flawlessly and just beautifully. Lots of very quiet parts on this album, all of which play with absolutely no noise or even light background crackle at all. Just a beautiful, beautiful playing copy. The cover has some ringwear and rubbing on all four corners, mainly the bottom ones. There is a 1” seam split at the bottom right. The lower edge is slightly indented but I think that is the way it is made. There is a bit of general evidence of use but really it is a pretty nice cover without any sort of serious damage. Looks lovely. Really a great original copy that sounds absolutely gorgeous.
