DESCRIPTION OF ITEMa great unread book, with date stamped or written as shown, and i show the copyright date in the book, CHECK OUT THE CONDITION.I HAVE A NICE STASH OF UNUSED VINTAGE books (all varieties) on ebay right now, these are very hard to find, especially TOTALLY not written in (except for the date stamp), MINTY if you want a book to read, i would suggest you find another one on ebay, if you want a book to display and admire than i suggest this one. so few of these book have survived that have never been read, it would be nice to keep it that way, but really it is up to YOU THIS IS A GREAT CLEAN BOOK from the amazing "White Mountain Collection" from the collector Kennett Neily, you may have heard of his amazing comics, well this is one of his books, know for being date stamped (or written) the day he purchased (province) them and left in unread, clean condition. i am listing the books separately, as the condition is unbelievable, if there is any wear it is light and as shown. UNREAD. this book is wonderful,but date stamped on the first page. WOW WHY HAVE HIS COMICS SOLD FOR SO MUCH MONEY: CONDITION, CONDITION, CONDITION--and look at these books, WOW... In 1984 a man approached Jerry Weist, owner of "The Million Year Picnic" comic shop in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a small sampling of comics from his collection. This initial meeting was the hobby's introduction to what is now referred to as the White Mountain Collection. Few collections of Silver Age books approach the consistently high level of condition and page quality that White Mountain copies possess. Weist would eventually become the organizer for Sotheby's comic book and comic art auctions. In that capacity, he introduced the collecting world to this fabulous discovery, offering choice samplings in Sotheby's 1991, 1993 and 1996 auctions. Many collectors are still not aware that the collection's large body of Silver Age publications also included a small sampling of choice, early Underground Comix. It should also be said that most collectors have yet to grasp the significance of that inclusion. For most Silver Age collectors, the UG's are the forgotten books of the period, and this is a serious omission on their part.
