Unusual Antique Vintage Rectangular Mills AK Model Alloy Putter

Description: This item is an antique vintage right-handed 34 1/4" wood shaft putter. A heel shafted rectangular shaped aluminum alloy head. Made in the UK by Standard Golf. It is their AK model which you don't see very often. The head is in good clean condition. Yes, it has the expected play nicks and dings but is not damaged. No hosel cracks. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old hickory. The shaft has a very minor bend, I see no cracks and it has some play at the hosel. Always re-set hickory clubs prior to play. The grip is an old long leather wrap that is in fair vintage condition. C 3 swingweight if you are considering play. If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this hickory shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage (already done on this club). These hickory shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee hickory shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old hickory shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old hickory shafted wood with a hard range ball. Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3-pound box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, eBay and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of $10 I receive $8.50) and I would like to break even. eBay collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money.
