Description: This is a unique, silver pendant that was handcrafted during the early 1900's in Northern India. It is very-old, collectible tribal-jewelry, not a new reproduction. More measurements are listed at the end of this description. Its unusual shape of this pendant is a 3-dimensional, stylized form of the Hindu monkey-god Hanuman - the devoted trustee of Lord Rama, and a symbol of strength and courage. This pendant was very sturdily made of 90 percent silver. Its walls are thick silver, and it does not bend. It is in excellent, collectible condition, with a warm age-patina and very mild wear-patterns. Museum quality. One-of-a-kind (OOAK). To show relative size, I placed it on a new 18-inch display neck-cord to photograph on a manikin as a necklace. This display-cord is included free with purchase, although it is not intended for long term use.
