It is a heavier weight cotton similar to a light canvas fabric. The lining is a vintage Navy blue flat muslin sheet. The entire bag and the handles have been reinforced with fusible Pellon to make it sturdy. There are 2 divided interior pockets to keep your small items at reach. *This is a flat tote style construction and dos NOT have the box construction bottom as most of my totes have. Sold AS IS.
