This listing is for the bivy cover only; no other components of the sleep system are included. You can use this bivy cover around any sleeping bag, but it is designed to snap into the other components of the Modular Sleep System. The bivy cover is dark grey on the bottom and has an ACU camouflage pattern on the top. It is made with a 3-layer GORE-TEX fabric, making it fully waterproof. It has a zippered closure with snaps for connecting to the other sleep system components. It also features Hook and Loop fasteners around the hood which can be fastened to prevent openings during rainy or extremely cold weather. This would make a great bivy cover for all-season camping. This bivy cover may be combined with the Patrol Sleeping Bag and the Intermediate Cold Weather Sleeping Bag to form the Improved Modular Sleep System.
