Description: US NAVY ships Bell weighs approximately 125lbs Solid Brass. Manufactured by M. Greenberg & Sons In San Francisco California. This bell was removed by the US Navy and stored in a Navy warehouse. It has been in storage for over 10 years. The Navy did not mark or record the ship this was removed from. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT SHIP THIS WAS ON. It has thick multiple coats of heavy gray paint from the seamen painting it. They would paint brass bells so they were more inconspicuous. Condition: does have a few dents and dings around the edges. Beautiful patina under the paint. Dimensions: top opening diameter: 1” Top diameter: 9” Height: 13” Bottom across diameter: 18” Weight: about 115lbs solid brass I am not going to clean this bell.
