Description: For sale here is an unusually modified US Vietnam War Era 3rd Award Combat Infantry Badge. The badge is approximately 1 3/4" wide. It has neatly and purposefully had the blue enamel removed. The back has the remnants of an N.S. Meyer maker mark. I can't see if there is a hallmark or not. The original attachments have been removed and two large hollow posts have been added vertically to the rear. The badge shows wear, age, and patina.
