This organization operated between 1940 and 1942 and was instrumental in supplying American-made ambulances to Britain during World War II. This stamp was issued in 1941 as part of the organization's fund-raising effort. It features a large "V" with the morse code version of the letter. It is listed in Mosbaugh's "U.S. All Funds Seal Catalog" as (Section 7) # 3610.02.1. This example is F/VF, OG, NH Approximate Image Size: 25½ x 35 mm.
