Description: This one is a made for killing wild hogs when hunting with dogs. I have made several of these for local boys here, and they say they work just fine. The blade is differentially hardened carbon steel and will stand up to anything you can throw at it. Both edges are sharpened, so be sure to check your local laws to make sure it is legal in your area! These knives are made for hard use. I make the blades the handles and the sheaths myself. They are not stainless. They are carbon steel and thus, will stain and need to be oiled and maintained. However, they will hold an edge better than most types of stainless steel. I make the blades one or two at a time, hand-grind and carefully temper them. This knife, like all my knives, comes with a cowhide sheath that is stitched by hand with a true saddle stitch.
