At widest, width between arms at front edge is approximately 1-7/8th inch, and approximately 2-1/8th inch about half way out from wall. Depth of cushioned support arm area is approximately 4 inches. Support arms adjust from widest (see above) to completely closed ~ allowing secure holding of smallest necked instruments such as ukuleles. Mounting holes are set 2 inches apart, and holes are aboutn 3/32nd inch May be mounted to wall, post, or other surface, with screws or bolts. Please note: mounting hardware not included.
