Description: USAF Pilot's Aircraft Cockpit Thermos 55th Weather Recon Squadron, B-47 B-50 This is a 1950's USAF aircraft cockpit thermos from the 55th Weather Recon Squadron. This mounted in the cockpit by the pilot and it has the tail number of the aircraft it came from. It is either from a Boeing B-47, or a B-50. The production numbers for both run through 1951 and the squadron operated both of these aircraft with the B-47 succeeding the B-50. It is in good used condition with some small dings. The steel mounting bracket has some rust in one spot which has made a stain on the stainless steel, but it will polish off if you want to do that. Payment must be received within 7 days of auction close or high bidder loses all right to property.
