Description: This neat, B&W post card of the Unites States Army Transport, "Thomas," was sent from Honolulu, Hawaiian Territory, to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, U.S.A., on June 24, 1925! The senders were most likely dependents of a U.S. Army officer, or someone who will serve in the civil service in Manila, United States Commonwealth of the Philippines. At the time of writing, the ship was approaching Honolulu. To continue, the red, 2-Cent, U.S. "Washington," definitive is in very fine condition! The machine cancel from the Honolulu Post Office is awesome! Lastly, as for the post card, itself, it's in quite good shape! It's very clean, but has some creases around some of its corners. The images on the front are still quite clear! Noted, minor imperfections aside, this post card is a neat piece of U.S. Army postal history connected to the transport ship, "Thomas," dependents of U.S. Army soldiers or civil servants, and The Philippines!
