Yairi is a long-established acoustic guitar manufacturer that represents Japan. It is still a top-class acoustic guitar manufacturer in both name and reality, and is active at the forefront of the industry. This time we have a 2008 OR-203 CUSTOM in stock. It is a limited model based on the OR-203 from that time, but it is a masterpiece with luxurious specifications that are far removed from the regular OR-203!! Solid spruce top, solid rosewood sides and back, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, non-scalloped bracing, actual 42.4mm nut, 645mm scale slope shoulder dreadnought body. The regular OR-203 was a relatively simple matte finish model, but this limited model is quite luxurious with ivy inlays, abalone trim and rosette, and gloss finish! The sound hole rosette and body trim are made of abalone, the ivy part of the fingerboard inlay is celluloid, and the flower part is white mother of pearl. The fingerboard inlay shines clearly from any angle! The sound is powerful and responsive! K. Yairi generally has a slightly thin sound line, but this one has a solid, thick fundamental tone with the edge of rosewood, creating a bright and voluminous sound that is refreshing to the ear. When strummed with a flat pick, it produces a bright, edgy sound, but also a glossy and pleasant sound to the ear. It responds well when plucked with fingers, and each note has a clear, deep sound with good grain, making it an all-purpose instrument that can be used in any genre or playing style. There is nothing that would interfere with playing. It is a relatively clean instrument. There are small scratches and dents scattered from the center of the body end to the side. However, there are no major scratches that affect the overall appearance. There are no cracks in the paint or wood.
