Description: I have a 2005 Volvo S40 T5 sedan and the OEM driver side headlight assembly was broken and extremely fogged over. The internal wiring harness in the assembly was damaged beyond repair so I ordered a new replacement assembly from Amazon in July 2023. It installed perfectly but the low beam did not work. I removed the H11 bulb and tested it on my bench and it worked perfectly fine but once I put it back into the assembly it still didn't work. Then I realized what I did. My car has the factory HID lights installed and the assembly I ordered was Halogen which my car's wiring harness can't power up. The side markers worked, the turn signal worked, and the high beam worked. Everything worked except the low beam/driving light. I had waited too long to install it and missed my return window. I kept it in the car since most of the lights worked but now I have a true replacement so that's the reason I'm selling. I'm selling this AS IS since it has been used for about a year and a half. Please make sure your car is HALOGEN and not the HID option on these cars otherwise you'll face the same issue I did. This is also just the drivers side assembly and does not include the passenger side one. Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them.
