Description: USS Krishna ARL-38 a memorial cover for this converted US LST Ship and Vietnam tender ship. She was originally built in Illinois in 1945, as LST-1149, served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. She was based at Phu Quoc Island as a tender for eight "swift boats". USS Krishna earned 12 Vietnam Campaign Stars. Cover franked with a 58 cent flag stamp # 5657 (FDOI) and a 15 cent Vietnam Campaign Ribbon stamp # 1802.
