The brass plaque measures 4.5" in diameter and shows age-appropriate brass patina; the thick brass personalized plate measures 4" x 2" and is quite legible; the dense, hard wood base measures 7.25" x 9.5" and is beautifully seasoned. There are velcro strips in the back if you'd like to mount it in that manner. Overall the piece is in very good antique condition. The pics were shot with and without a flash.
