Tuscarora. Printed form filled in in beautiful and largely illegible copperplate: the paymaster's middle name is Goodwin, but the last name could be Dobbs, Cobbe, Robber.... ** Passed Assistant Paymaster I. Goodwin Hobbs, served on Tuscarora 1872-1875 ** - thanks to hptuttle for this information. Edward T. Dunn, Paymaster General, U.S.N., approved Geo. M. Robeson, Secretary of the Navy.
