The made in Japan plate measures approximately 6 3/4" in diameter and weighs approximately 6 oz. It has blue & grey floral sprays on the front against a white background. There was platinum trim on the rim. The bread & butter plate is in very good condition -no cracks or crazing noted! There are slight nicks on the bottom base rim of some of the plates. There is slight wear on the platinum trim. There are scratches on the front. A great addition to your set We double box all fragile items to help withstand the stress of transport. The double boxing adds to the shipping weight and postal expense but we believe the added precaution in packing is a worthwhile investment to ensure safe arrival of your item.
