The high plateau is sprinkled with herdsmen’s huts and holiday cabins. From spring to winter it offers varied hikes from one herdsmen’s settlement to another, and in winter family skiing is especially popular since the wide gentle terrain does not demand great skiing skills. Velika planina is also highly popular with cross-country skiers. This was part of a group of hat/lapel pins obtained from an individual in Croatia. This is an older used item.
