This is a practical, durable kit for building your own throttle cables for a custom chopper, a unique classic, a show project, or a vintage race bike. The conduit is spiral wound steel covered with tough black PVC. The inner liner is Teflon for smooth action and zero maintenance. The wire is galvanized steel for long life and easy soldering. High-quality, "build-your-own" cable kit suitable for generally any motorcycle throttle application with a push-pull style throttle.The ends of the inner wires are fitted with a 6mm dia x 5mm nipple. The opposite end will need to be cut to length and the required nipple soldered into place.PLEASE NOTE: We strongly discourage the use of a propane type torch to heat and flow solder into the wire. This is likely to overheat the wire, causing it to become brittle. We recommend dipping the wire ends in a solder bath, such as that in a solder pot.The ferrules are a snug fit.
