Click them and they will enlarge. Here is a rare with box and instructions ventriloquist puppet of Mortimer by Juro Novelty Co. from 1968. This info is inscribed on the back of his neck. It is possible that this was an old mold using this older date and then sold in the 70's or 80's. I am not sure. Please use your own knowledge on this for the exact date it was made. These are really hard to find with the original box. It even comes with its plastic covering on the box. For his age he is in amazing condition. The box is in great shape too! I will list any major issues below. Smaller issues are shown in the photos. -The string does not open or close his mouth. -There are some light age stains on the back of his legs and a few lighter spots here and there. Most of his outfit looks very good. -The plastic window on the box is yellowed and cracked and missing parts in areas. It would probably look better on display without the covering. -The instructions have a lot of damage on them. There are 2 identical instructions that come with him. -Top of the box has a 1" paper rip with a piece of tape on it and the sides have some white damage on it where tape ripped it.
