Description: VERY OLD Antique TOTALY HANDMADE Sterling Silver Ball Necklace. Procured at an estate sale, every piece of this necklace is handwrought ! The chain is small sections of silver wire, some twisted, some not. On the links that contain the small flower in their center, the flower is tightly twisted pieces of silver wire, too. Each of the silver balls appear to have been sand cast in halves, then soldered together to form the spheres, some with matching cut designs, others forming a closed (hollow) ball. Even the hooking clasp is totally handmade--see photos! I'm guessing this was a special act of love made for someone's wife, and that it has been passed through decades of loving care.Always view the photos as they are part of the description and the item seen is the exact item you will receive.
