Box has been reinforced with tape all over, looks like the tape-job occurred decades ago. The dots on the pieces are very visible. They look like they have been heavily used, but well cared for. All the tiles are pretty scratched up when looked at closely. This set is in an ideal condition for many collectors of bakelite. I think its really neat something so used has been preserved so well, including the box. A few of the pieces have chips, which helped make identifying them a bit easier, I was concerned they might be wood, but at closer glance where the chips are once can clearly see they are a solid material. The pieces with chips are: 1/6 on next to the corner dot of the 6 side along the edges. The 2/5 tile is chipped on a corner dot all the way to the edges of the corner, this is the most damaged piece. The 0/4 tile is chipped near a far corner on the blank end. 2 x 1 x 1/4in and about 15 grams per tile (on average).One-Sided.PRICE too HIGH? Watch/Follow the listing.
