Description: Antique rare embossed D-SPECIAL brick. Very bold embossing. Recently found in a river in Vermont. This brick has been water/soap cleaned only and then air dried. Beautiful natural patina from being under water for so many years. I was told by the International Brick Collectors Association librarian, that there is no known information regarding the maker or timeline of this brick. If I had to guess, I would say this brick dates to mid to late 1800s. This brick measures approximately 8”x 3.5” x 2.5” and weighs 4 LBS 9 OZ.
