Description: For your consideration, today we are offering ONE RARE ,VINTAGE ELECTRO VOICE MODEL 1000 SPEECH CLIPPER. This clipper, is designed to be used in a signal path, originally in line with a microphone, and has adjustable clipping contour. The clipper uses 2 tubes, a 6SC7 amplifier and a 6H6 diode, for the clipping circuit. The input is an MC1, high impedance microphone connector, and the output is a shielded cable, with no connector currently on it. The unit requires 6.3V for heaters, and B+ , which I believe is about 250V. The clipper is used, and is sold as is, untested. Naturally as this unit is from the early 1950s, you would likely want to replace the capacitors in the unit, before testing it. A really difficult to find clipper, which would be great for recording/studio applications, or for a transmitter setup. As always, please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
