Description: This is a very rare Roman Numbered Impression. In 1981 I was attending CU Boulder, doing some writing and I called Gorman for an interview. He invited me and my girlfriend to visit him at his home in Taos. We ended up spending three days with him, drinking a lot of wine and eating at his favorite restaurants! He pointed out that we were sleeping in the same bed that Elizabeth Taylor had slept in! This was a gift and is number 14 from the edition of only 25 Roman Numbered Impressions. I was also friends with Randy Lee White, who gifted me two small paintings.The piece is professionally framed in a beautiful dark walnut and floats on stacked complimentary mat. Evangelina is one of his most beautiful works - measuring 22" x 30" in a 30" x 39" frame. The right lower corner has slight damage, see photo. I'm sure easily repaired.
