Description: Very Rare Vintage Runner’s World Logo T-Shirt 1978 vintage Runner’s World magazine was the bible of the running era beginning with its initial issue as Distance Running News, a newsletter that began in 1966. By the late 1970’s when it had become Runner’s World, it was required reading for those of us who laced up and went out on the roads or the track. The t-shirt offered here was purchased through Runner's World, in 1978. It was a good companion on those long runs we all made. This is a great addition to any runner’s collection. It’s great for wearing with jeans, shorts, and even in races where you will be sure to impress the competition! The shirt is 100% cotton, made in the USA. It is in generally good condition, with two points to be noted: there are small tears in the seams under the left arm, and wear holes under the right arm. (Please see photos.) The shirt color has faded to a light, warm orange (probably from those 10 mile runs) which actually highlights the strong yellow of the logo. Important information about the size: as you see on the label, it is size Small, 34-36. But this is 1978 Small, so please be aware it may fit more tightly than a size small shirt today. Take advantage of this unique offering; do not let this piece of running nostalgia pass you by.
