Description: This textile is an antique French woman's jacket dating from 1860's-1880's. The body is made of a beautiful velvet that looks sometime black and other times dark brown! The lining is a plain black fabric with a beautiful small scale dot printed cotton fabric lining each sleeve. The buttons are fabulous but what really steals the show for this garment are the 6 beautiful scallops at the waist!
