OVERLAY IS IN A BLACK SILK CHANTILLY LACE. THE BODICE HAS A HIGH COLLAR WITH THE LACE OF THE YOKE AND THE HIGH COLLAR SPRINKLED IN SHIMMERING BLACK SEQUINS. DENSE BLACK SEQUINS AND JET BEADING IN RAISED DETAIL ENCIRCLES FULLY AROUND WITH THE LACE DRAPING FULLY OVER THE FRONT. PIGEON FRONT STYLE WITH A PLEATED SILK SATIN BELTING WITH MATCHING PLEATED SILK SATIN AROUND THE HIGH COLLAR. THE SLEEVES ARE IN BILLOWING PUFF FULLNESS WITH A LARGE BELL DRAPE OF THE LACE OVER THE SILK CHIFFON PUFF SLEEVE THAT HAS A BLACK SILK VELVET BOTTOM BAND CUFF TRIMMED WITH A BOW ON THE OUTER EDGE. THE INTERIOR PETERSHAM BELTING HAS THE MAKER’S LABEL STITCHED IN THE CENTER AND THE INTERIOR LINING IS BONED THROUGHOUT. THE SKIRT FLOWS FULL LENGTH WITH THE SILK CHIFFON BENEATH HAVING BLACK SILK CHIFFON RUFFLING ALL ALONG THE EDGES. THE REAR FLOWS IN A LONG TRAIN. CONDITION: THE GOWN IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION BUT THE INNER WHITE SILK TAFFETA IS HEAVILY BREAKING WITH SHATTERED BREAKAGE UNDER THE ARMS AND SPLITS BEGINNING THROUGHOUT THE SKIRT. THE WHITE SILK TAFFETA THAT EDGES THE WAISTBAND OF THE SKIRT IS ALSO SHOWING BREAKAGE. THERE ARE THREE UNSEEN HOLES TO THE BLACK CHANTILLY LACE ON THE SKIRT BUT ALL ARE FIXABLE AND VERY HARD TO NOTE AS IS AS THEY ARE NEAR THE BOTTOM EDGE HEM.
