Description: A Victorian quilt in the Trip Around the World pattern. Tied quilt w/lots of blue & black calico. Cutter condition.Size - 66" x 84"Identification of Trip Around the World can be attributed to Jonathan Holstein in his 1973 book: "American Pieced Quilts".This is a One Patch- Square type pattern. It begins w/a small group of squares in the center - the pattern is built out in rings from the center. There is a lot of calico fabric in this quilt - blue, black, gray, green & cream calico. Also solid lavender squares, some stripes & a few prints.Batting - medium Backing - very thin cream cotton.Quilting - this is a tied quilt. There is no actual quilting. It is tied at regular intervals w/yellow wool.Condition - CUTTER. There are 5 split squares - otherwise the main body is good. However, the bindings are very frayed - some rips & the backing is in bad shape - splits, rips, small pieces missing. Great for crafts or projects - or even repair if you're patient & good at sewing. The quilt has potential - but, right now, it is in CUTTER CONDITION.NEW SALE PRICE - MAKE AN OFFER - BUY IT NOW !!! Q5423Jan24
