Description: DATING TO THE VICTORIAN 19TH CENTURY FASHIONED OF A WHITE COTTON THAT IS WOVEN WITH A RAISED STRIPE DETAIL THAT IS DONE IN LARGE AND SMALL GROUPINGS THROUGHOUT. THE INNER BODICE HAS A COTTON LINING THAT CLOSES WITH POLISHED SHELL BUTTONS WITH NO CLOSURES TO THE OUTSIDE. HEAVY RUCHING IS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE FRONT NECKLINE WITH A RUFFLE TRIMMED COLLAR AND MATCHING RUFFLES ON THE CUFFS. THE BOTTOM HAS A FLOUNCED RUFFLE FULLY AROUND AND THE REAR IS CUT IN BUSTLE FASHION. CONDITION: THERE ARE OVER A DOZEN PINHEAD HOLES THAT ARE SCATTERED THROUGH THE SKIRTING, ONLY NOTICED WHEN IT WAS IRONED AND HELD TO THE LIGHT. THERE ARE FOUR FAINT BROWN STAINS THAT ARE VERY LIGHT WITH A STAIN THAT IS JUST BIGGER THAN A PINHEAD ON THE REAR RIGHT SHOULDER AS PICTURED. THIS DRESS HAS A PERFECT APPEARANCE AND THE FLAWS ARE SLIGHT AND HARD TO NOTICE.
