Description: One new unboxed Victoria's Secret Encounter 1/2 ounce (0.5 Oz - 15 ml) Pure PERFUME Spray (low fill? slight evaporation?) I see lots of listings calling this a cologne, eau de cologne, etc. but that is NOT what this is! I have been collecting VS fragrance items for over 40 years and I absolutely KNOW what this is without a doubt! Why? How? I still have some of the sets these came from with the packaging that clearly identify these as perfume. Perfume is the most concentrated form made in any fragrance (the only exception would be a perfume oil). They never made an "eau de cologne" in this scent but they did manufacturer this scent in a cologne concentration. The colognes were sold in the large 1.7 oz bottles (square box), along with the .38 oz spray (short squatty box) and a 1/2 ounce size (tall slender bottle that is tapered at the bottom, also in a box). The boxes on all three of those colognes have a pink top with a silver bottom. The bottles on those colognes all have a silver ball lid. They also sold the pure parfum in a mini size. Those were never sold individually nor did they come with boxes, as those also came from sets. The only other 1/2 Ounce size of pure perfume sold by VS was in a fancy collector's box in the same bottle style as the large 1.7 oz cologne but, of course, smaller in size. I guarantee this item smells true to form! This is a vanilla based scent! Rare and hard to find discontinued product. Please see the pictures because what you see is exactly what you get! Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Absolutely authentic, as I personally purchased these in sets direct from VS many, many years ago.
