Description: Hello there. In this lot, you’ll get a variety of titles that were once owned & operated by a small business company in San Diego California, as most of these programs have since been purchased by pentrex in 1995 or 1996. The programs that you’ll get are: 1. Cajon pass (1987, a full hour coverage on one of Southern California’s most visited hot spots. Note: although it was originally released in 1987, the case itself is a 1991 reissue, & was recorded on a T-60 Scotch Brand Tape) 2. Santa Fe 3751-the restoration (1992, a full hour coverage of the rebuild of the oldest operating 4-8-4 built in 1927 at Fontana California from the disassembly to the test runs, note: there are 2 print dates: May 31, 1992, & September 4th 1992) 3. Donner pass (1988, a full hour look at great diesel action on the southern pacific from Roseville California to Reno Nevada which includes Amtrak’s California Zephyr, & vintage scenes in the snow) 4. The battle for Donner pass (1993, a 75 minute look at winter operations from Reno to Roseville in Northern California which also includes Amtrak’s California Zephyr) 5. Imperial valley sugar beet trains (1994, a full hour look at the final days of operations of this unique all wooden freight train in July of 1993 in Southern California on the southern pacific) 6. Smithsonian steam part 2: Southern Pacific (1992 or 1993, a full hour history of a fallen flag before it was purchased by Union Pacific in 1996, which includes vintage films of every example of steam on the SP, to modern excursion trips with daylight 4449. Note: like the Union Pacific version, this program is also yet to be converted to today’s digital formats by pentrex) 7. Burlington Northern’s funnel (originally made by video rails in 1994 & reissued by pentrex in 1997, this 80 minute title contains the never ending parade of freights in Idaho. Note: this is what is perhaps to be the very last video rails title ever made before the company was sold to pentrex) 8. The battle up Sherman hill (1989, a full hour coverage of the mainline on the Union Pacific from Cheyenne to Laramie Wyoming with vintage films, & modern trips, no case, but it does come in a yellow cardboard case) 9. Burlington Northern’s Mullan Pass (1990, a full hour coverage on both BN & the Montana rail link in the big sky state which includes a cab ride) 10 Broadway limited (1941 75 minute black & white sound film created by Hal Roach who is well known for creating both the little rascals & Laurel & hardy) 11. Phantom express (1932 full hour black & white sound film) If ordered, I’ll throw in a bonus item. All of the tapes are fully rewounded to the beginning.
