Description: The 100 Vietnamese dong banknote that was first introduced in 1991 didnt have a signature and had a sans serif prefix. Withdrawn in 1996, the warm colored note measures 120 mm by 60 mm. The obverse side has the Vietnamese coat of arms: a circle framed by rice ears, with a five-pointed star above and a cog wheel and an inscription of Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The reverse side features the Pho Minh Pagoda in the province of Nam Dinh. The note does not have a security thread. However, it has a circular pattern watermark.
