You can easily connect it to your device; it's usually plug-and-play. It also has built-in speakers and comes with the power brick, Micro-HDMI to HDMI cable, and a USB-C cable. The power adapter is not always needed. I never needed to use it in my setup because it got enough power from my computer through the USB-C cable. Sometimes when the connected device doesn't have enough power output, you need to plug it into the power brick as well, though. It just depends on your specific setup. :-)
