Description: Villeroy & Boch Dresden Saxony 700 Blue White Covered Teapot Antique 1874-1909 Lots of details on this early lidded teapot from Villeroy & Boch. Look at images to see all the flourishes. Dates to the early Art Nouveau period, in the style of Jugendstil. Pattern is called Saxony 700 and this was made in Dresden Germany. Bears the mercury back stamp was used during this period of time. From base to knob is about 6.5" Edge of handle to edge of spout is about 10" Condition: Very light crazing on lid and one small spot that appears to be in the glaze. Otherwise excellent pre-owned condition with no known flaws or damage. Vintage and pre-owned items may have slight imperfections or signs of light use.
