Description: Vintage Maurice Of California Clam Shell Soap Dish / Serving Dish Blue Iridescent. This is a very pretty clam shaped dish by Maurice of California, signed on bottom and made in USA circa 1950-1960s, measures around 6 “ in diameter. It is a lovely blue and pearly glazed, no chips or cracks in the piece, finish is beautiful *** there is one small imperfection/wear spot- it is a small ding, or more like a spot of paint loss on the edge of the shell, I almost missed it- see last picture. This is a lovely Mid Century home décor item, perhaps it was used for serving, but I think it would display beautifully in a powder room, on a vanity, or on a ladies dressing table.
