You can set the temperature as you desire by pressing the control panel UP/DOWN buttons. You're able to adjust the temperature by 1°F between 50-66°F. It is generally considered best to keep your white wine at about 56 degrees This wine cooler is designed to store up to 12 standard wine bottles. Storing large and/or oddly shaped bottles (including champagne and sparkling wine bottles) will decrease the capacity. There is a dent on the back of the fridge, on the upper right corner, but you can hardly tell from looking at it from the front. It does not affect function whatsoever. See pictures.
