Description: Vintage 1924 LYON & HEALY "Couturier Model" Chicago Gold Tenor Sax with Vintage Runyon 5 Mouthpiece and Vintage Case. Sax Serial #15727. What a beautiful instrument! This tenor sax has been cleaned and *adjusted, and plays very good from top to bottom with a steady, smooth tone on the included Runyon 5 Mouthpiece. Pads, corking, and felts are all in very good condition. The springs show very good response and it has good intonation. Cosmetically, there are no dents, maybe a few shallow dings, very little scuffing, and some finish wear inside the bell (see pictures and video). The vintage case has a new top handle installed and is sturdy with all hardware functions properly. Included with the case are a new red microfiber polishing cloth, a clean pad saver, a new neckstrap, a mouthpiece sock, and the Runyon 5 mouthpiece w/ligature, vintage France brass cap, and new Rico Plasticover reed.
