Description: Here is a collector plate from Crown Ducal Florentine. May be from the 1930's? On the face of the plate it says Sam Weller Composes his Valentine. Art by A. L. Stanmore. This 10.5 inch plate has the usual crazing that comes with age. There are no chips and just two minor spots on the back that look to be from its firing. One is a small orange stain that is about a quarter inch and one black grain of grit. Both have glaze over them so they were there when this plate was manufactured. This wonderful plate was made in England. Would look wonderful in a curio cabinet or give as a gift! Free shipping in the lower 48 States. All others inquire for a quote.
