Description: Vintage sickle with a wooden handle and sturdy blade. Original red paint still present on handle and a bit of the blade. Measures approximately 16” from top to bottom. Handle measures approximately 6.50”. In good vintage condition with wear appropriate to age and use, wood handle is without rot and secured with two rivets, and the metal blade has surface rust, does not have an edge and would need to be sharpened if intended to be used. Please see photos for more cosmetic details. This tool was stored for decades in my Grandpa’s barn after he retired from farming in the mid 1960’s.
