Vintage 1890’s bicycle original condition rideable, exc cond. safety

Description: Original American safety cycle, circa 1894- 1898. Brand is MONARCH made in USA , east coast. Circa 1890’s. Has excellent patina, and actually rides very well. Nice white tyres, lovely headstock badge.Kelly bars, and grips . The seat is an eclipse, again original. It’s a man bicycle, and is quite tall, so would suit a male rider around 5ft 11” or 6 foot. These do not come on the market often, and represents an opportunity to add a great sample into your collection. More than welcome to come and ride it, before purchase. the tyres hold air, however would need new tubes if your planning on riding regularly. Also the chain is the 1” skip tooth and really needs to be replaced. I guess this is why the bicycle stopped being ridden in its past life, and we have that to thank. This bicycle is located in Williamstown Melbourne, and can be shipped if needed, however would prefer collection. I doubt you will ever find another turn of century (toc) period bicycle in the local market. Selling due to change in circumstances. Shipping will be determined at cost after closes.
