Description: On offer is this very beautiful Vintage Chinese Genuine Natural Huge 18mm Diameter Turquoise Necklace with a Sterling Silver Hook Clasp and hand knotted with silk cord. The color is a very intense blue green color which is unique to Chinese Turquoise. The necklace is a stunning intense color that photo's cannot capture. The gems are genuine turquoise without treatment or fillers. The turquoise beads measure a large and now rare 18 mm in diameter (or almost 3/4 inch in diameter). There is is some matrix within the gems attesting to their authenticity. Weighing 188.9 grams. The clasp is not hallmarked but it tests positive for sterling silver as do the two sterling corrugated beads next to the clasp. In excellent vintage condition with no damage or repairs. This lovely Chinese turquoise is now very hard to find since the Turquoise mine in China has closed. The Turquoise is highly polished so it gleams with a deep shiny luster. In real life the Turquoise is an intense blue green aqua color...very beautiful and elegant.
