Description: I have a child's verse book " My Busy Days" that is written by Edith B. Sturgis and when I looked it up on line I found it to be worth up to 750.00. But it does have issues. The front and back of the cover was tapped over way back when it was given to a little girl in 1909 for a Christmas present from her mom and dad. There are some pages out because the thread binding it together has broken. Not all are loose though. It is illustrated by a well known artist Margaretta S. Hinchman. The cover has some wear on it before it was tapped the pages have discoloring because of age and some need to be reinserted. It was first published in 1908 the year it was written and published by D. Appleton and Company in1908 in New York. All the pages are there some, a couple, just need to be reinserted. I think as it is now it is worth about 400.00 but I have not had it appraised. Going cheap and a good book to invest in.
