Description: We have for sale a vintage possibly 1920s- 1940s embroidered tinted pillow cover. It measures approximately 16.5" x 16.5" and is in nice used condition. It features a sweet little soldier puppy dog in uniform marching past the "pup" tents. This piece has not been sewed- it is unfinished. The edge of the pillow case cover reads "No 542 Pillow Top and Back", then the rest of the writing has worn away. The writing matches other vintage pillow covers we have made by Vogart USA, so we believe this to be made by Vogart. It does have some areas of slight staining/storage staining (please see pics); I did not launder the pillow cover to try and remove those areas. This is from my mother Dorothy's (a Rosie the Riveter in WWII) collection. She was a fun, strong, and vibrant lady who had an eye for unique and beautiful items. Our hope is that these items find their way to people who will appreciate them as much as she did. Please look at all pictures and ask questions before purchase. Thank you!
