Item Description: Up for sale is Vintage 1926 ELGIN Gold Filled 12 Size 17 Jewels Stem Wind Stem Set Full Hunter Case Pocket Watch – For Repair, good balance, missing crystal and bezel. This Elgin pocket watch is in good condition for repair. It is in overall good condition except missing the bezel and crystal. It was made in 1926 according to its serial number. The silver color metal dial is in good condition with complete hands. The dial should be modified by the previous owner putting extra markers on the numbers to transferred this watch to be a blind man’s watch. (For the blind man to touch the markers and hands to tell time). (I think that’s why it is missing the bezel and crystal). The gold filled case is in good condition with no signs of wear outside. The 17 jewels movement looks clean and with good balance, but it is overwound currently. The watch size is 48mm in diameter. It is 12 size. Please review all photos for more details.
