Description: Up for sale is a rare G Bouret illustration of a boy and girl at the races printed on the back of a Parisian menu for CAFE DE PARIS. This was recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. Offered as found with tears, rips, losses, foxing, staining, but quite cute. Unable to translate the bottom. One of the most polished illustrations by this artist. Originally we thought it an original, no dots, but the colors are all flat, airy, seem screen printed maybe. And no evidence of pencil line, no shine to any of the paints, nothing rubs off. Seems too good and too flat to be an original.
