This is “Dolly Rosebud” by Horsman, Vintage 1930’s. She is the FIRST (earliest) edition of Rosebud made. She is said to be Horsman’s version of the popular Shirley Temple dolls from this era! This exquisite doll measures 22” tall. Her lovely light/creamy “peaches and cream” skin tone (composition) is in amazing condition, with its original factory sheen. Pretty grey tin open and close eyes with all her perfect human hair lashes present. Her original factory face paint is still fresh and vibrant. Sweet open mouth smile showing her 4 upper pearly teeth. Her adorable dimples add to her charm.Human hair wig is thick and full in its original factory set, with her original metal barrettes. Her cloth body is very clean (inside her crier is silent) Rosebud is wearing her original pristine condition, tagged pink factory dress and matching ruffled brim bonnet. She has on her original socks with pink accent, and original center button leatherette (oilcloth) shoes. The buckle on her right shoe has been “replaced”. Her pink slip and ivory silky undies are vintage although not certain if original.She displays beautifully!!
